The sweater

The hoodie is finally finished, but the model might surprise you.  Wasn't this Doug's sweater?  Well, yeah.  But when he tried it on, he decided it just wasn't his style, so he gave it to me!  It is apparently too artistic for him.  So he decided he wants a simple green one, and, to keep my interest, brown cuffs and hem.  He is so silly.  Well, at least this hoodie is fun and relatively quick to knit.  The kids have all put their orders in, and are trying to decide on colors.  Don't worry, everyone, I am still making a purple one for me.

Quick, everyone go find something to knit!

If you can't knit, now is a good time to learn.

Such a cute sweater Heidi!!

I taught myself to knit last year cause I SO wanted to!! But it takes me FOREVER to knit anything! Any tips? What stitch is your favourite and quickest to do?

Thanks, ladies! Tough question, Donna. In my experience, the easier the stitch, the longer it takes me. Why? Because I get bored. If I have stripes or a yarn over or something to think about, I move much faster. I can guage my progress by the stitch repeats. Unfortunately the stripes didn't look that great on Doug lol.

Well it sure looks lovely on you! It might be a good time to learn how to knit, but I sure can't even crochet a straight scarf... hahaha. Oy vey. I try. :).

The sweater is beautiful. I have never looked into knitting...someday. I only began sewing a year ago. :)

This is my first time here and I see you are expecting blessing 6, me too! We have raised chickens for years but are still on the fence about milking goats or a jersey cow.
I'm sure to be stopping by more often.
